I am a board-certified nephrologist with over 15 years of experience dedicated to caring for patients with a wide range of kidney-related conditions. My clinical expertise includes the management of chronic kidney disease, diabetic kidney disease, hypertension, glomerulonephritis, hyponatremia, kidney stones, recurrent urinary tract infections, and complex electrolyte abnormalities.
A central focus of my practice is helping patients prevent or slow the progression of kidney disease. I strongly believe that informed and empowered patients achieve better outcomes. I take pride in being a patient advocate, listening carefully to concerns, and explaining medical conditions and treatment options in a clear, compassionate, and practical way. My goal is to help each patient feel confident and engaged in their care.
In addition to my clinical practice, I am deeply committed to medical education. I serve as an educator for medical students, residents, and fellows at HCA Kingwood, and I value the opportunity to train the next generation of physicians.
I also serve as Medical Director at three local dialysis centers, where I provide compassionate, high-quality care to patients with end-stage kidney disease. I have extensive experience in home dialysis modalities and have helped develop and lead the largest home dialysis program in the Greater Houston area.
Through this blog, I will be sharing insights on a variety of nephrology-related topics to help patients, families, and caregivers better understand kidney health and disease. I look forward to staying connected, engaging with those who need nephrology-related guidance, and supporting you on your journey toward better kidney health.
